Dear Supporter:

Why should you care if politicians are bicycle-friendly?

Simple. Think Bel-Red corridor in Bellevue. Lake Forest Park and the Burke-Gilman Trail. The Mercer Island "loop." New bike plans in Tacoma and Everett. Sound Transit. Every one of these - in fact, everything about your ride - is affected by our elected officials. They can make - or break - bicycle facilities and bicycling in your local community.

With your financial support, we can elect bicycle-friendly candidates for local public office in Seattle, Snohomish, Bellevue and Tacoma. Please join us for refreshments downtown Seattle at the beautiful home of Todd Vogel and Karen Hust to raise money for the CBC Action Fund.

Home of Todd Vogel and Karen Hust

Thursday, Oct. 1, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
715 2nd Ave. #1901

Every dollar raised at the event will be matched up to $3,000, the leadership contribution made by Cascade Bicycle Club board and staff. We suggest a donation of $50 at the door, but please don't let money keep you from attending.

If you are not able to attend, you can still help elect pro-bike leaders by making a contribution to the CBC Action Fund today. Thank you!

Please RSVP to Chris Rule by Monday, Sep. 28.

Hope to see you there!
