Would you like to see a complete bicycle network in Lynnwood?Stop by the Lynnwood Library, 19200 44th Ave W, on Monday, June 29th, between 3:00-7:00 pm.
The City of Lynnwood will be hosting its final public meeting to discuss its multi-choice transportation system, known as the 'skeleton system.' The City has identified 70 miles of bike routes in the plan, of which 12 miles are complete. Your support is critical at this stage in the planning process.Last time we contacted many of you, bike lanes on three streets were under threat- your support led to a compromise and saved those lanes.Thank you!
Now is your chance to advocate for:
-Bicycle projects you want to see constructed in Lynnwood to get funded and prioritized
-A complete network of bicycle routes, providing safe connections both locally and regionally
-Your opinion on different types of bicycle facilities, such as shared lanes or bike lanes
-An aggressive plan for implementation of the bike facilities
If you can't make it Monday evening, please send your comments to the Project Manager, David Mach, at: dmach@ci.lynnwood.wa.us
Feel free to copy us or send your questions or concerns, and forward to a friend!
Thanks for your advocacy- with your help, we'll have a better community for bicycling.
Have a great weekend,
David Hiller
