Congress will vote tomorrow on a the American Clean Energy and Security Act, HR 2454. Known as the Waxman-Markey bill, it is sweeping legislation to tackle our climate and energy troubles. We cannot reduce polluting emissions and our dependence on oil without transportation choices.

The Puget Sound Regional Council is considering five options for its Transportation 2040 plan. Only Alternative Five makes significant changes to reduce car congestion and pollution.
